MYSTERY SOLVED 🕵🏼‍♀️ 🔍 ✂️

We use the causative ‘HAVE’ to describe actions we don’t do ourselves but arrange for others to handle.

HAVE + Object + Past Participle

Examples:

She’s having her kitchen renovated 🏠 (someone else is doing it for her)

He had his car washed 🚗 (he arranged for someone to wash his car)

It’s a smart way to talk about tasks we delegate!

Terminé de maratonear ‘ADOLESCENCE’ de @chenetflix y quedé así 😳

No solo es excelente desde el punto de vista cinematográfico, si no que también nos sacude como sociedad, interpelándonos con temas profundos y actuales tales como el bullying, el impacto de las redes sociales en la juventud, la búsqueda de identidad, la salud mental, entre otros.

Algo que me fascinó como amante del inglés fue la manera en que la serie logra capturar la autenticidad del acento de Yorkshire, Northern England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 aportando realismo a los personajes.

Es un desafío entenderlo por eso les armé este reel para que puedan empezar a identificar algunos aspectos CLAVE que hacen único a este acento.

YORKSHIRE ACCENT NO TE TENEMOS MIEDO!!! 😅🙅🏼‍♀️

Nothing more magical & witchy than Autumn in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🍁✨

En octubre del año pasado tuve la posibilidad de conocer esta ciudad que parece como si se hubiera detenido en el tiempo ⏱️ no se muy bien como ponerlo en palabras pero me atrapó desde que puse un pie en una de sus calles 🫶🏼 Edimburgo es mágica, oscura, misteriosa – mindblowing. Y sí, te sentis en una peli de Harry Potter 24/7 🧙🏻‍♀️ Si bien es muy lluviosa durante el otoño, los colores de la ciudad en esa época son de otro mundo 🍂 no hay nada que un piloto y un buen paraguas no solucione ☔️

📍 Les comparto algunos spots que no pueden dejar de visitar si viajan a la capital escocesa ⛲️
